Moongazer is going global. YEUH.
We've Gone Global
G-love: Tweet tweet
We've got some G-love (GRACE GOW LOVE) for pretty things, just because they're purty.
I stumbled upon this collection of Marc by Marc Jacob bags and fell in love. How can anyone resist a bag so adorable?
The cute birdie embellishment is a great play on the typical structured Marc Jacobs bag. It's what Snow White would rock if she were looking for a good daytime accessory....maybe!

Sweater Shoe...Say What!?
Is this hybrid of shoe and sweater hot or not? I say hot! It is the fashionista's answer to Uggs, perfectly fusing comfort and trendy shoes. These cozy fuzzy bad boys would look great with Solid Gold.

Maybe we had it right in the first grade with the crazy colors. It's time to bring back neon socks or patterned stockings. Balance out the bling that's all up in your ears with the perfect compliment to very very long earrings -- bold socks. The more colors the better, think obnoxious and potentially blinding combinations, like electric fuchsia pink and toxic waste green.

Houston, We Have Lift Off ....
Last Thursday night we celebrated the official launch of GRACE GOW - a new collection, a new website, a new year. The turn-out was great. The cava flowed. The earrings dazzled...and I think everyone had fun. I know I did.
(Seattle Metropolitan Magazine stopped by and had this to say!)
As with every good party, the afterglow is filled with reflection. Here's mine:
- It was SO GREAT seeing some old (hot and young) faces who I haven't physically seen or hugged in way too long. Big thanks for coming.
- In the whirl of all the fun, I neglected to distribute important thank you notes that convey thank yous...and offer 30% off your next gracegow.com purchase in honor of our launch.
Go to www.gracegow.com and use coupon code LAUNCH30 at checkout!
- I want to develop more prominent jewelry displays that are lit differently, and sit at eye level.
- DJs Hart and Rosenthal rocked it. Thank you guys.
- 2010 already is a pretty fabulous year!
Check out some pics:

Good For The Ears
So your ears just started looking a lot better after snagging a sweet pair of Hangmen earrings to wear with your new party dress.
But what to do about the audible assault of REPETITIOUS Christmas music going on out there in every public and retail space? (We love the classics too, but by the 30th time....)
Listen to this. Your ears will thank you.
GRACE GOW dot com: Behind the Scenes
Getting the photography right for the GRACE GOW website was critical. Since the earrings are about more than 'a pretty shot of an earring', we really wanted to capture the essence and personality of GRACE GOW. Expressive, independent, fun and sexy.
Brian the photographer, who is also the brilliant web designer behind the GRACE GOW website you see today, did an amazing job setting up and executing the shoots. Together we ran around town renting equipment (flashes, lighting), gathering textured and patterned backdrops, styling wardrobe and finding props.
Over the course of 3 separate shooting days with 2 fantastic models (THANK YOU Heather! and Jamie!) we managed to launch 1 website with photography that, we think, catches the vibe of what GG is all about.
Below are some 'behind the scenes' shots from the making of the images you see now on www.gracegow.com, Facebook, Etsy and elsewhere.
GUS AND JAMIE
Although canine, I swear Gus is also part worm or weasel. He managed to nudge his way into many frames, like say, above. I'm so glad he decided to lick his #$%^% in the shot. (Hey Gus, it's not that kinda website....)
GUS
Gus is thinking: "What????"
HEATHER
Heather is a true professional and she melted the camera with her come hither look. My semi deformed thumb, minus it's thumbnail because I closed my finger in a car door, is featured here. Pretty (gross), huh?
CAT AND JAMIE
Jamie was the most ultimate sport when it came to fielding our requests to act like a wild child in front of the camera. A super hard working young lady, she's going to Hawaii in a few days and so deserves it. Have fun in the sun Jamie!
BRIDAL
GRACE GOW custom bridal jewelry (for brides, maids and moms) is for the off beat bride. We experimented with throwing a loose bouquet of flowers up in the air and catching the chaos as it came down. Didn't totally work out. PS. That thing that looks like a wedding dress on Heather? It's a beautiful old lace curtain, pinned in the back to fit snuggly. Shhhhh.

We have lift off
Gracgow.com has launched! At 4:30 am last night/this morning, our baby has been born. How exciting.
T-minus
We're getting very close to launching the new site. So excited. Business cards should be arriving today/tomorrow. Packaging boxes and stickers. Bulk orders of gold chain (expensive. love that the price of gold is skyrocketing right now.) Brian, the fearless DP, web designer, printer fixer and general GG rockstah, is days? hours? away from putting the finishing touches on the backend. Ha.
I'm heading to the studio now to get our latest retail order ready: Killer Looks salon in Belltown. Vivian is a vixen. She's rockin hot super long extensions now and sells fantastic makeup products under her own label. Killer Looks Salon is at 1st and Broad, in Belltown. You should check it out.
